I also baby sit on wednesdays for Miss Ingrid (Dr.Roberts wife). I watch their two little boys, Tommy and Andrew, she is pregnant with their fifth child due in Dec.! She is having a baby girl! :-)
Mom has been working. She still enjoys her job! She has been very busy lately. She got to go to Vegas with the office for a conference class thing to learn the computer program. She already knew how to use it but they needed a nurse to go. She got to see the Lion King show and she said it was amazing! They also went to the Hoover Dam, she said that was awesome! :-)
Chrissie is working with Lilly and stays busy with shoots and editing. They are starting to do new things for the company. She is loving her job! She enjoys taking pictures of all the families and precious little kids!!!

Experience of a Lifetime!

Sorry I haven't posted in a long time!!! It has been two months since we returned from the Dominican Republic. We has an amazing time!!! While there we had the privilege of going and serving along side our new friends from the Oasis church there! We went to different communities each day and got to go around and talk with people and share the gospel! We were even privileged enough to see some people come to Christ!!! It was amazing to see the conditions in which they live! There is one place there that the people pf that community live in the sugar cane, they harvest and plant it all year long, since sugar cane is not as popular as it used to be people don't really go out there. So the people who live there are called the lost people because they have been forgotten. They people of the church go out frequently and bring them food, clothes, medicine, Doctors come and set up a clinic, they play games with the kids and give out toys and candy. The people of the Oasis Church are simply amazing!! They don't just do all of this for the people who live in the sugar cane, the do it for all the communities they go to!Whatever that community may need they do their best to get it for them!! The last part of the trip we got to go to their bible camp. It was an experience!!! :-) They had like 21 girls in one room with two toilets (that ended up being one for our group because the other one broke!) and with two showers. One of my favorite thing about the whole trip was every time we worshiped together we worship in english and spanish!!! It was SO amazing to sing one verse in english then the next in spanish!!! My favorite song we sang was Mighty to Save!!! I LOVE that song any way, but singing it in spanish in another country with our new friends who welcomed us in so sweetly was just amazing!!!! I cried every time we sang that song!!! I love and miss all of my new friend that I met while on this trip!!!We all became a family and got to live life together. This is a trip that I will NEVER forget!!! Chrissie really put it in perspective when she said the when she saw the mountains around us and thought of the song Mighty to Save it was amazing to look at them and think God can move the mountains!!! I thought about that and was speechless!!! How great our Go d really is that he can move the mountains!!! Thank you God for the wonderful experience you gave us this summer!!!
